These are like the three legs of the stool to us and should be thought of as three stabilizing pillars of support. In fact this quite a normal way for us to operate. Many of the innovations we develop by doing productions and services for both clients and ourselves lead to the products which role out to the general public.

Yes its more than just a banner. We would find it difficult to work any other way. Tightly bound and wrapped together, its our core nucleus. Our Atomic Structure.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

We were one of the first companies to bring into Canada the new breed of Digital Cinema Cameras from Red. We're also a licensed Red Developer and have been there from the start.

We spend almost as much time and expense on R&D as we do on everything else combined. It shows up in our product innovation and has a positive effect in every aspect of our business.

We wouldn't have it any other way.

PRODUCTS:

ActionScript, JAVA, C++, PHP, Javascript... It doesn't matter what the language is because we're fluent in all of them. Twenty Seven years in the computer graphics industry has given our computer graphics team tremendous technical depth. We're more than just developers, we're also the end users and all of out products are developed from and end user's point of view.

PRODUCTIONS:

From television to feature films, we're thrilled to have expanded from just straight production services for clients into working on our own television shows and in particular we're happy to have completed scripts recently for three different feature movies.

SERVICES:

We started in the service business and it continues to provide challenges and creative excitement which will carry us through into the start of the next decade. We're adding four new camera systems to our inventory and eight ultra high resolution 5k Red Ray play back systems.

Table Meeting

TechYou Television Production.
Currently in the early stages of development, TechYou TV is a half-hour technology magazine show that examines, reviews and teaches the latest trends in digital media. The show is being created for both High Definition Broadcast and Online Distribution. TechYou Digital Media is also one of the first companies to embrace the new Red One Digital Cinema technology and is working to be on the leading edge of 4K Resolution (greater than High Def) Digital Cinema Distribution.

TechYou Motion Picture Production.
As of April 06, 2009 TechYou Media owns All Rights to three feature length scripts, two comedies and an action adventure script.

One of the Comedies, "Plastic" is in the romantic comedy genre and is the furthest along in development. Although the opening of the movie is set in Rome and will be shot there and the story is set in the Mid-West United States, almost all the rest of the locations will be shot in and around Kelowna and Vancouver.

Craig R. Bowman - Senior Partner
Craig Bowman takes an artistic approach to his work. It's this creative process that allows Bowman to develop innovative scripting languages, flash tools and extensions. Many of Bowman's innovations were born out of necessity for larger scale projects which would benefit from the development of high level tools. When he couldn't find what he was looking for, or when declarations were made that what he needed wasn't technically possible, Bowman would just create the software himself. The result was the foundation that created TechYou Media.

Donald B. Ferguson - Partner
A 29 year career in broadcast television has seen Don Ferguson excel in all aspects of video and television production. His creative and technical talents include field and studio camera work, directing newscasts and live location broadcasts plus award winning post-production and non-linear editing. From documentary and commercial production to web design and digital media production, Ferguson loves a challenge and constantly pushes technology to its limits. As an instructor at the Centre for Arts and Technology in Kelowna, BC, Ferguson is preparing the next generation of digital media producers.

Chris S. Cleaver - Partner
Chris Cleaver brings a unique perspective to TechYou Digital Media. During a career that spans more than 30 years, Cleaver has consulted, designed and operated for many television and radio stations throughout BC. He is also a seasoned broadcaster having worked on-air both for both radio and television. Working on both ends of the broadcast spectrum, Cleaver's knowledge makes him one of the most popular media instructors at the Centre for Arts and Technology in Kelowna, BC.

James M. Dow - Partner
James Dow brings over 19 years of broadcast television and digital media experience to TechYou Digital Media. As a broadcast television writer/producer/director, Dow has garnered numerous national and international awards for commercial, programming, documentary and promotional productions including CAB Gold Ribbon, CanPro Gold, British Columbia Association of Broadcasters and Television Bureau of Canada. Dow also brings active knowledge in digital media as a web designer and content producer for new media.

Craig's Wranglers
The Wranglers is an evolving suite of developers tools in the form of software extensions for Adobe Flash. Architected around producing the code for connecting to database tables quickly, controling the display and management of records from various tables in a connected database and outputing all of the code in the two main languages currently in use for the developer. Craig's Wrangler has five different extensions, and two other related products in the suite.

Digital Floss
Digital Floss is a breakthrough software algorithm that utilizes proprietary hardware to compress and deliver large amounts of digital media. Digital Floss compresses huge amounts of data (such as High Definition Audio and Video) to a file size that can be emailed, then uncompressed with little or no loss of quality. Primary target markets are Film and Television distribution, broadcast and theatrical film release.

Media Server
Media Server is a breakthrough software language that allows for the instant deliver of streaming and audio video - with no buffering - over the iinternet. With ongoing convergance of audio and video media being delivered via the internet, Media Server will increase the speed of distribution with no loss of quality.

Education.
TechYou Digital Media is committed to informing, enlightening and educating. To that end, we are developing post-secondary curriculum that can be delivered in a digital environment. The cost of developing accredited curriculum is one of the biggest expenses of any post-secondary institution (public or private). While our main focus is Digital Media, TechYou is looking to research, develop and create digital curriculum for wide range of post-secondary disciplines. The goal is to create the curriculum, then license the Intellectual Property to qualified institutions.

TechYou Digital Media is a privately held company. All investment would be subject to current rules and regulations of the Province of BC and Canada. TechYou Digital Media is only interested in meeting with serious, sophisticated investors willing to contribute a minimum $250,000 capital toward research, development, beta-testing and marketing of its current slate of properties and projects.
