the confirmed delivery of their RED ONE
Digital Cinema™ Camera (www.red.com),
one of the first in Canada.

Developed by multi-billionaire
Jim Jannard (of Oakley Sunglasses Fame)
and his hand picked dream team of the industry's
top experts from every required field, the
RED ONE shoots 4K Redcode Raw (four times
the resolution of current High Definition).
With its modular design, the camera can
be used EFP style or loaded up to shoot
a feature film. Options include RED-RAIL™
mounting accessories that "grow"
the camera body. DOP's can configure for
tripod, crane or long lens applications.
High-resolution RED monitors come equipped
with advanced tools for framing, exposure
and focus. The RED ONE™ body and RED-RAIL
components provide numerous mounting points
to allow hundreds of optional RED and third
party accessories.
The superior resolution
of Red compared to other digital cameras
makes it perfect for special effect work,
especially green screen. "Film is a
wonderful medium and has proven itself over
the decades," says Bowman. "Advances
in Broadcast Video have been interesting
to follow but for extremely advanced technical
work the analogue format of film isn't necessarily
well suited and High Definition Video isn't
really that high at all nor does it have
the dynamic range of film. Red makes the
new era of Digital Cinema a completely new
medium."
In the near future, TechYou

for rental (with Digital Imaging Technologist)
on commercial, industrial, documentary,
feature film productions as well as special
